Portrait Film
Framed 4:3 for the closeness it gives — a squarer frame keeps you with the face rather than the place.
Shot 4:3 rather than widescreen, which is a deliberate choice and not a technical one. A squarer frame crops the world out at the sides and leaves you with the person; widescreen would have kept giving you the location to look at instead.
The trade-off is that it sits differently anywhere built for 16:9 — worth it here, because the piece is about a face and not a place.
